The service was pretty quick for a BBQ place, and the food was nice overall. And at the end they make you fried rice which is always good

Over the weekend we met up with friends to eat at Honey Pig, we went to the Buena Park location instead of the Irvine location since our friends said it was "better". We ended up ordering two plates of the pork belly for a table of 6 which was enough since were all a little order these days and not really eating like we used to back in our 20s and 30s. Overall i think service was ok based on typical korean places, which basically you have to use the bell to get the waiters attention but once you do, they bring you whatever you ask for right away. Its not a place where they hover over you making sure your ever need is met, which i dont mind. I did find it funny that the place was filled with people wearing golfing gear and there was even a sign on the door warning people wearing golf cleats that the floors were slippery. Must be a course near by, just didnt think bbq after golf was a thing.

Some of the best kbbq I've had, but wear clothes you don't care about because this place is greasssyy! Literally just walked to the bathroom and almost slipped on the way haha. Anyways, onto the food. Unlimited sides were green onion salad, some sort of cold radish soup, rice paper, and everything that comes on the grill (bean sprouts, kimchi, etc.). Our party of 5 had 2 orders of brisket, pork belly, and the thin sliced pork belly. All were delicious, but my personal favorite has to be the thin sliced pork belly - a must!! Also, make sure to save room at the end when they make kimchi fried rice with the leftover stuff on the grill. So effective I love it! The service is pretty great too; servers are all really attentive and will help grill the meat for you. Definitely pricy, but know you're getting your money's worth!

Been coming here forever. The later it is, the busier it gets so we try to get here early if we know we want pork belly. The four of us were sat immediately at 5:30 on a rainy Saturday evening. Every single one of the boys who works here is on top of their game. As it gets crazier in the evenings, they can be a bit scarcer, but considering what they do, I absolutely do not fault them. The pork belly has absolutely slapped for the last 10 years, and I expect nothing less for the next 10. The steamed egg does take a good 15-20 minutes to come out, so pace yourself if you do order one.

On a Sunday afternoon, this place was empty O_0 I came here with a party of four people, so we got to share three orders of meat and enjoy the rice that comes after the meal. I would say the food here is very enjoyable. The grill is circular, almost like a small hill. The kimchi and bean sprouts were cooking on the perimeter to soak up the fat dripping from the meat cooking in the center of the grill. The service is great because they cook for you!! I definitely recommend getting the pork belly. The ribeye is more pricy, but it's worth it. Parking is ample in their lot that they share with Kaju Tofu (which is another great soontofu place btw). They're a walk away from the Target on the I5/91 fwy.

One of the best KBBQ in OC! First of all service is great, the food came out quickly and someone was always there to help cook our meat and take our order. I love the grilled Kimchi and honey pig pork belly. The pork belly was so good and crispy. I love how they cook everything on a cast iron skillet. Even the steamed egg came out perfectly cooked with pretty looking dome shape. My favorite was when they have rice paper, not a lot of KBBQ place serve them anymore and it's my FAVORITE thing to eat with KBBQ. After the meal they end up mixing the grilled bean sprouts/ kimchi/ egg into fried rice cooked on top of the skillet topped with melted cheese. It was delicious! Can't wait to come back for my next KBBQ craving. The only thing I would complain is that my husband was in the bathroom with a server and he told me left without even washing his hands, which is super unsanitary.

Honey Pig has amazing taste and great customer service! Located in Buena Park close to the source, while the food was great and the service was excellent, I think it is way too expensive for what they provide. For two orders of meat we paid $90, which is ridiculously expensive! Rice is not provided, and overall I think you can get the same quality of meat for way cheaper elsewhere. There is plenty of seating in here, only con is the floors are very slippery so wear nice gripping shoes. Overall 8/10 Would probably go to the source next time instead
